Legal notice: These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Pathline at pathline.io. Creating an account or using our services means you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. We recommend consulting your own legal counsel to ensure compliance with laws and rules that apply to your use case, industry, and messaging campaigns.
AGREEMENT
By registering for a Pathline account, using our website or applications, or opting in to receive SMS messages from us where offered, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use our services or opt in to SMS.
PATHLINE SMS MESSAGING PROGRAM
The following applies to transactional and marketing text messages you may receive from Pathline after you opt in on our website or through other methods we make available.
Program / brand name: Pathline
Program description: Pathline may send SMS messages about your account, product updates, onboarding, customer support, sales, promotions, and related service information. Content depends on how you use Pathline and what you opt in to receive.
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s normal rates and fees apply to messages we send and that you send to us.
Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your activity, preferences, and the types of messages you have opted in to. You may receive recurring messages while you remain opted in.

Privacy: Our collection and use of information related to SMS is described in our Privacy Policy.
Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages.
Opt-out and help (required disclosures):
You can cancel SMS messages from Pathline at any time. Text STOP to the number from which you received the message to opt out of that program. You will receive a one-time opt-out confirmation. Text HELP for help. You may also opt out or request help by emailing hi@pathline.io.
USE OF THE SERVICE
You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may not use Pathline in violation of applicable law, to send unlawful or abusive content, or to interfere with the service or other users.
BILLING AND SUBSCRIPTIONS
Paid Pathline plans are billed on a recurring subscription basis. By providing a payment method and starting a subscription, you authorize Pathline to charge that payment method for the applicable plan fee, plus any add-ons, usage, or taxes, on a recurring monthly basis until the subscription is canceled.
Recurring charges: Your subscription automatically renews each billing period at the then-current rate unless you cancel before the renewal date. The subscription continues, and your payment method continues to be charged, until you cancel.
Plan changes and proration: If you upgrade, add seats, add phone numbers, or otherwise change your plan during a billing period, the change takes effect immediately and we charge a prorated amount for the remainder of the current period. Your new monthly total then applies on the next renewal.
Payment processing: Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor (Stripe). By submitting your card information, you agree to the processor's terms and authorize the storage of your payment method for future and recurring charges. Pathline does not store full card numbers.
Carrier and third-party fees: Certain charges, including carrier review and setup fees, messaging fees, and similar charges, are set by third-party carriers and providers. These may be billed separately and are not refundable by Pathline.
Failed payments: If a charge fails, we may retry the payment and may suspend or downgrade your access to paid features until payment is successfully completed. You remain responsible for amounts owed.
Price changes: We may change subscription prices. We will provide notice of price changes as required by applicable law, and changes apply to billing periods beginning after the notice.
CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
Canceling your subscription: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting us at hi@pathline.io. Cancellation stops future renewals.
Effect of cancellation: When you cancel, your paid plan generally remains active through the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and it will not renew afterward. After the paid period ends, access to paid features stops.
Refunds: Except where required by law, subscription fees and prorated charges are non-refundable, and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused time, or add-ons already provisioned. Third-party carrier and messaging fees are non-refundable.
Cancellation by Pathline: We may suspend or terminate your account or subscription for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or misuse of the service. If we terminate without cause, we may provide a prorated refund of prepaid, unused subscription fees at our discretion.
SERVICE CHANGES AND AVAILABILITY
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of Pathline with or without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
DISCLAIMER AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pathline and its operators provide the service “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of amounts you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim or fifty dollars (USD), except where such limitations are not allowed by law.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will post the updated terms on this page and update the “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms where permitted by law.
