Referrals & payouts

Share your personal invite link, and earn a commission whenever someone you referred pays for Pathline. Connect a bank through Stripe to get paid automatically.

Get started

  1. Open the Invite tab

In the dashboard, click Invite in the sidebar. You'll see your personal share link and your payouts panel.

  2. Share your link

Copy your link and send it to anyone. When they sign up through it, they're tied to you as a referral.

  3. Connect your bank

Click Connect bank to get paid to start secure onboarding with Stripe. You'll add your identity and bank details on Stripe's own pages — Pathline never sees them.

How you earn

  • Commission on every payment — you earn a percentage of each successful payment a referred user makes, for as long as they're within their commission window.
  • One year per referral — each referred user earns you commission for the first year from their signup, then their window ends.
  • Only on successful payments — commission accrues when a payment actually succeeds. Failed or unpaid invoices never generate a payout.

When you get paid

  • 7-day hold — commissions are held for 7 days after each payment before payout, so any refunds in that window are deducted cleanly before money is sent.
  • Automatic transfers — once the hold passes and your bank is connected, the commission is transferred to your Stripe account. Stripe then deposits it to your bank on its normal payout schedule.
  • Email confirmation — we email you when a commission is sent for payout, and when your bank is first connected and eligible.

Refunds & clawbacks

If a referred payment is refunded, the matching commission is clawed back. If the money was already paid out, the reversal can pull it back from your connected account (which may temporarily put your balance negative until Stripe recovers it). Clawbacks appear in the Clawbacks list in your Invite tab.

Tracking your referrals

  • Pending vs. Paid out — see totals for commissions awaiting payout and commissions already sent.
  • Invited users — each referral is listed with whether they're on a paid plan, whether their commission window is active or ended, and how much you've earned from them. Customer details are never shown.
  • Manage Payouts — once connected, open your Stripe dashboard any time to change your bank, view payouts, and more.
Good to know You only need to connect your bank once. If you close onboarding early, just reopen the Invite tab and finish bank setup — your referrals keep accruing in the meantime and pay out as soon as you're connected.
