Storage
Pathline tracks how much data your workspace stores: message media, message text, form answers, voicemails, email campaign files, and hosted site files. View usage and manage stored files from Account → Storage.
Where to view usage
Open the dashboard, go to Messages, open Account, and choose Storage (direct link when signed in).
The chart shows total usage against your plan’s included storage. Hover segments or expand legend rows for more detail.
What counts toward storage
- Messages: SMS and form content stored in your inbox, trash, and spam copies (see below).
- Email campaigns: images uploaded for newsletters and templates.
- Voicemail: recorded voicemail audio files.
- Web Studio: deployed site files for hosted pages.
Messages total vs breakdown
The Messages number at the top of the chart is the full amount of message-related storage. It includes:
- SMS message text: the body text of inbound and outbound texts (UTF-8 byte size of what you see in the thread).
- Form submission text: answer text from form submissions in inbox, trash, and spam.
- Photos: MMS photo attachments and customer-upload images (File Share and upload portal).
- Video: video files from MMS and customer uploads.
- Documents: PDFs and other document files from MMS and customer uploads.
When you expand Messages in the legend, Photos, Video, and Documents show combined totals from both MMS storage and File Share uploads. Each row is clickable so you can browse and delete stored files.
Message text is in the total, not the breakdown
SMS message text and form submission text are included in the Messages total and count toward your plan limit, but they do not appear as their own line items in the expanded breakdown.
There is no separate “text data” row because that storage is the cumulative size of message bodies and form answers across your account: not individual files you would open or delete from the storage browser. To reduce text storage, delete the underlying messages or form submissions from Messages (move to trash and permanently delete, or remove spam copies).
Managing file storage
- Photos: combined MMS and File Share images.
- Video: combined MMS and File Share video files.
- Documents: combined MMS and File Share PDFs and other documents.
- Voicemail, Email campaigns, and Web Studio: use the matching legend rows to review or remove stored content where supported.
